A Beautiful Woman

Pamela Chase Paradee lost her inspirational and unbelievably courageous battle with cancer Tuesday.    A giant hole has been left in our lives as she was our anchor.  She will be forever remembered, and her spirit will live on forever in her three beautiful boys and in all of us that she touched.
As you all know, Pam was an amazing woman.  A wife of 14 years, a mom of 3 strong boys, a reputable teacher and a leader in her community.  Pam was an organizer, and goal driven.  A triathlete and marathoner.  One of Pam's mantras we all can live by is Love,  Life and Laughter.  She was vibrant!  A person you always wanted to be around, her energy was bountiful.  Pam has loved all of us and we will love her forever.

A memorial service will be held in Bristol, VT on Sunday July 25th at 2pm at the Federated Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to:
Community Outreach Fund, Merchants Bank 15 West St. Bristol, VT 05443 - Attn, Andrea
or to Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Bone Marrow Transplant Research: Checks payable to: DHMC Development Office, Attn: Michelle Clark, 1 Medical Ctr. Dr., Lebanon, NH 03756

I'll always remember Pam's vibrancy and the way she lit up a room with her laughter and positive energy! Doing things with Pam was always FUN -- from getting pedicures to hiking with our dogs to mixing drinks. She'll always be in our hearts and we'll remember her in so many ways when we laugh and have fun as she so frequently inspired us to do! Love and strength to you, Troy, and to Tucker, Sam and Grif. We're here for you.

It has been many years since I saw Pam in person and yet I can imagine her smile and bright eyes as if I saw her yesterday. (She and I were classmates at GDA.) I remember her as an incredibly vibrant and positive person, always smiling and engaged in life. I am so sorry that you have lost her here on earth but as I well know having lost my father to cancer, she will remain with you forever. I wish you the peace that comes from knowing she is no longer suffering and that the time you shared together was precious. Sending love and prayers your way.

Pam was -- I hate the past tense --was clearly the product of her remarkable parents. She welcomed the challenge of each day, embraced life and inspired us all.
There will be a living Pam within all of us. Through our sadness will come rejoicing over a life lived to the fullest.
With love and sorrow,
Pete

You need look no further than those three wonderful boys for proof of what a kind and loving woman Pam was. Our community was so lucky to have had Pam for as long as we did. It has been such a long fight. The neighbors, friends and family have all been backing her up in her fight. It is a loss for not only her family but for the comunity and everybody who knew her. Right now she is in a good place not having to be sick anymore. I know she will be watching Griff, Sam and Tucker through there many adventures and triumphs. She will in all our hearts and all our memories. The best thing now for every one to do is to support her loved ones a I think that is somethig she would want because she can't do it even though she wants two. She will be missed greatly but she will never be gone.

I got to know Pam her first year of teaching at Robinson. I was an Ed tech, and she had landed her first teaching job. There wasn't a woman ever so excited to teach children about everything and anything. In the process, she taught all of us at Robinson how to laugh, smile, embrace life, and grow. I haven't seen Pam for 9 years since we moved to Maine, but I have thought of her often through the years - many times when I have been in a triathlon, because Pam inspired me to try the sport.

Todd and I are both thinking of you, Troy, and your 3 beautiful boys. Hug them tight, and enjoy your wife's gorgeous legacy that they carry onward. The world has lost a beautiful woman, but she has left behind 3 amazing kids who have learned so much from her.

I will be participating in a couple cycling and running events to raise money for cancer research and cures, and I will be doing them for Pam.

All of our love,
Karen Wilson and Todd Papianou

Troy, our hearts and thoughts are with you and the boys. Pam was an incredible inspiration for us all, and receiving her smile would always make the day better, no matter how things were going. Saw you and the boys today at the Stampede, and just didn't know what to say or do, because all I want to do is hug those three beautiful kids and tell them everything is going to be alright. Don't know if that's what they want at the moment, hugs and kind words from every single mom in town, but let them know that we are all there for them! Take care of you. Deb Mager Rickner

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Pam as an adult but it sure sounds like she was the same sweet, cheerful, kind, and enthusiastic person I remember from high school. My deepest condolences to the Chase and Paradee families for your tremendous loss. You are in my thoughts. Cathy
