The wait continues....

We met with Dr. Unger today and got the results from the PET Scan on Monday. It was 98% good, and 2% not good enough yet. The area that "lit" up on the scan was significantly less than before the high dose/transplant. There is however one small area still that is showing up. They cannot be sure yet if it is still an area that is receding, or an area of residual disease. To make a long story short, we will wait 6-8 weeks and have another PET Scan and see what it shows. If it is gone, yipee!! (x10) if it is not then we will look into the next course of treatment.

Thank you again for all of your support through this trying ordeal, we are still keeping our chins up and feeling optimistic about our treatments. We are obviously very anxious to put it behind us and use what we have learned in our lives each and every day.
