Daffodils for the American Cancer Society
Hello everyone -
I thought by post my friend Porter's email, that would not only be a great way to spread the word in Bristol, but all those that come through Bristol, and make those in other areas aware of Daffodil Days for the American Cancer Society, which you can purchase in many locations if you keep your eyes open.
Thanks - we're always getting closer to a cure!!!!

Hi-
Usually I "just say 'no'" when people ask me to volunteer for things, but when my friend Amy (a cancer survivor) asked if I'd coordinate the Town of Bristol's Daffodil Days campaign for the American Cancer Society I accepted. There are just too many people in Bristol battling cancer!
I hope you'll participate; it is easy and a great way to bring some spring sunshine into your life a little early!
All you do is make a donation to the American Cancer Society between now and February 29th. Then the week of March 17, you get some sunny daffodils!
Your donation isn't just buying a bunch of daffodils. You'll be helping fund cancer research, education programs, advocacy and services for cancer patients and their families.
You can order online through the Town of Bristol page I set up on the American Cancer Society web site: visit the Town of Bristol page.
Or, if you prefer, you can stop by one of the following locations in town to make your donation:
Town Offices (see Therese Kirby)
Lawrence Memorial Library (see Nancy Wilson)
Mt. Abe Union High School (see Nancy Kerwin for the National Honor Society)
Bristol Elementary School (see Val Hanson)
The deadline for ordering is Friday, Feb. 29, and flowers will be ready for pick up the week of March 17 at the same location where you placed your order. If you order online you can pick up your flowers at the Town Offices.
Thank you so much. Please forward this to anyone else in the community!

Perfect!; Just the thing I was looking for. I was wondering where to get these! I not only want to help the Cause but also to deliver a winter pick-me-up for my Meals-on-Wheels folks.
Ps. It was good to see you on your "slip-in" at the concert!
